Very disappointing experience. Bought a brand new iGo folding power wheelchair last year. After a few months It... wouldn't fold properly and then the joystick handle broke off. Soon after one of the armrests broke. It's been back and forth to Balance Mobility for months and months while our 94 year old Dad struggled without it. Originally they wanted to charge approximately $150 for the joystick part and after sending it back, we were told they'd been sent the wrong part. They kept the wheelchair this time for well over a month. Now we've been told that the armrest and the joystick part will cost $1500 if we want to go ahead and have it repaired! The only thing they ended up repairing was the folding capability. A staff member agreed that these plastic parts really shouldn't break so easily and yet they aren't covered by the warranty.read more

Have just spent a week at Coolangatta. We hired some necessary equipment. This company has been marvellous to work... with. Madonna and Jason were so helpful and keep us up to date with everything. Mick made his delivery to us even though we had to change accommodation because the first unit was impossible. I cannot speak highly enough of the company and would recommend them to anyone. We needed a Mobility Scooter when staying at Coolangatta last week - on enquiring we received all information we needed... quickly & efficiently with simple instructions how to find Balance Mobility. On arrival the scooter was there waiting for us & with a few simple instructions we were off - we had a wonderful holiday with my husband able to go out walking with the whole family, enjoy Bingo at the RSL also out for meals - without the scooter this would have been impossible - it cost our son in law more to hire a surfboard than it did for us to hire the mobility scooter !! Great service. I only wanted to hire a wheelchair for my son for a couple of weeks - so small fry at less than $100 ... - BUT, the young woman who served us couldn't do enough to help and the guy spent another 10 minutes getting the adjustment just right. This is the way a service business should run.read more

Hi if you need a lift.......then you need this!!! I recently purchased a BELLAVITA Bathlift, I am a 67 year old... female, with health problems, now finding it too hard to shower, being left with no energy.
